Excuses, Excuses!!!

I know.  I always have an "excuse" for being absent.  You ladies amaze me with your regular posting and visiting of blogs.  Believe me...I always love seeing what you all create, which is why when I haven't been by in a few days I try to comment on all the things I missed.  Plus, I appreciate the time you take to visit my blog and truly enjoy having you as my bloggy friend.

This past week I have been preparing for my darling daughter's 12th birthday - a Winter Wonderland.  Here is what I have been up to. Thanks for letting me share and ....

Happy Sunday,

Photo booth pictures - some will look better once they are cropped down.
Didn't have time to do that!

To quote my mom - the party went out with a bang when I got a
phone call from a neighbor saying that two cars parked outside
my house were totaled.  Who would ever think they would hear
those words!?!?  We are just glad everyone was safe inside
singing four verses of Happy Birthday [too loud to hear the bang].
I am still in utter disbelief!!!

P.S. Yes...they did find the guy.

  8. Looks absolutely fab! You really embraced the winter wonderland theme and transformed your house. She must have been over the moon! And didn't she look beautiful in her icy dress. Going to ignore the bang at the end, hope it didn't totally spoil things.

  11. Wow Leslie, you put on a fabulous birthday party for your daughter! Everything looks so beautiful! I take it that it was kinda' a Frozen birthday theme?! I love all the snowflakes and your photo props. The decorations are amazing as is the cake. Looks like everyone, especially your daughter, had lots of fun. Although I'm not to sure about dad in the one picture-I'm thinking that is dad. He doesn't look thrilled to have to hold a photo prop. lol Much like most men would be! OMGosh I can't believe that someone hit the cars parked outside your house!!! Were they your cars or guest cars?? So glad that the police caught them! You know Leslie, when my 6 boys were home there is no way that I would have ever been able to even do a blog must less visit blogs-I was way to busy. So I'm in awe that you ladies with younger children can do it all and do it well! Hugs, Brenda
